The New Zealand trophy hunting season is from March to the end of August. The best time to trophy hunt Red Stag, Wapiti (Elk) and Fallow Deer is during the roar, which is from March through to the end of May. Tahr and Chamois are at their prime from late April until August, however can be hunted all year round.

Extra game (at published trophy fee rates) as well as additional hunters in the group (at $23,500 per hunter), or sightseeing days may be added to this package.
